Antique Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) White Porcelain Platter, 13 3/4" Long

A Beautiful Antique Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) White Porcelain Platter, 13 3/4" Long.  This platter is elegant in its simplicity!  The white porcelain has a scalloped edge on either end with embossed swirls in the corners (see photos).  It is 13 3/4" long and 10 1/2" wide at its widest point, it is oval in shape.  The KTK mark on the back places the date of manufacture for this piece between 1900 - 1915.  Knowles Taylor Knowles pieces were produced in East Liverpool, Ohio, and are considered fine porcelain & highly collectable.  This white platter is so versatile & elegant - with any table decor.  I have also listed a matching (slightly smaller, 13 1/4" long and a 3 1/2") KTK platter - a wonderful set!  The condition on this is very good considering its age.  There are some pitted spots on the front - that are part of the manufacturing process (see photo #5).  The back has a bit of wear on the ends as shown in photos #6 & #7.  Otherwise, very good condition!
