Description
The Congo 5,000 Francs with a pick number P-102b was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2013. The banknotes obverse features zebras and a Hemba statue. The reverse of the banknote depicts two Congo peafowl birds and food bundles. The banknote is 146 x 72 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized RD Congo. It also carries a registration device in the form of a map with RDC on its obverse and BCC on a map on its back side. Additionally, the banknote has a watermark that shows the head of an okapi and an electrotype 5000 when held up to a light source. This particular Congo 5,000 Franc banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
