    Description

    Presented here is a 10" dinner plate in the Golden Wheat design by Edwin M. Knowles China Co. SEMI VITREOUS, Edwin M. Knowles China Co. Made in U.S.A. 40-1 is stamped on the back. Condition is good. No breaks, cracks, chips, or repairs. The colors are shiny and bold. There are some light utensil marks that are seen under direct light. I have read that the gold inner circle around the plate is 22k gold. Some of the gold inner circle has some wear. There are some bubbles in the glaze front and back. Also, I see a couple tiny brown marks the size of a pin head in the glaze on the front. This is a discontinued pattern circa 1939.
